Necessity of birth by the Holy Spirit or Baptism of infants

Denial of  baptism (birth by the Holy Spirit) to a person be it infant or adult means the following as per the Bible.

 

1) CANNOT ENTER THE KINGDOM OF GOD  

Joh:3:5: Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. Joh:3:6: That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Joh:3:7: Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

 

2) DOES NOT BELONG TO CHRIST.

Ro:8:9: Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

Joh:15:5: I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. Joh:15:6: If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.

 

2) CANNOT WORSHIP IN SPIRIT

Joh:4:23: But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. Joh:4:24: God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

 

3)CANNOT TO BE SUBJECT TO THE LAW OF GOD.

Ro:8:7: Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.

 

4) CANNOT PLEASE GOD

Ro:8:8: So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. Ro:8:9: But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you.

 

6) NO LIFE ETERNAL

Ro:8:13: For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

 

7) NOT SONS OF GOD, NO HEIRSHIP TO THE PROMISE.

Ro:8:14: For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. Ro:8:15: For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. Ro:8:16: The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: Ro:8:17: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

 

8) CANNOT PRAY AS HE SHOULD

Ro:8:26: Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Ro:8:27: And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

 

9) CANNOT RECEIVE SPIRITUAL THINGS ; THEY ARE TO HIM FOOLISHNESS

1Co:2:14: But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

 

10) GOD DOES NOT DWELL IN THEM

1Co:3:16: Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?

1Jo:4:13: Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.

1Jo:3:24: And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.

 

11) NOT PART OF CHRIST’S BODY THE CHURCH

Eph:2:22: In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.

1Co:12:13: For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

Ga:3:27: For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

Eph:2:22: In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.

 

12) NOT MARKED WITH THE SEAL OF REDEMPTION

Eph:4:30: And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

Eph:1:13, 14: In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,  Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

Eph:4:30: And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

 

13) NOT CIRCUMCISED WITH THE NEW CIRCUMCISION BY THE SPIRIT ;NOT PART OF THE NEW COVENANT

Ph'p:3:3: For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.

Heb:8:8: For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:

 

14)   NOT ABRAHAM’S DESCENDANT ; NOT PART OF THE PROMISE ; NOT OF THE COVENANT

Ga:3:16: Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.  3:17: And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect. 3:18: For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise: but God gave it to Abraham by promise. Ga:3:29: And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

 

15) CANNOT REALLY ACCEPT JESUS AS LORD

1Co:12:3: Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.
