It is the Lord who calls and chooses. It is then
more than a personal decision of choosing Jesus as our personal savior, but is it the Lord who calls or chooses first and
us being faithful to His call.
M't:20:16: So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many
be called, but few chosen.
M't:22:14: For many are called, but few are chosen.
M'r:13:20: And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the
elect's sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days.
Joh:15:16: Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you,
and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask
of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
Joh:15:19: If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world,
but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.
2Th:2:13: But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because
God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of
the Spirit and belief of the truth:
Psalms:33:12: Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD: and the
people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.
De:14:2: for thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God, and the
LORD hath chosen thee to be a peculiar people unto himself, above all the
nations that are upon the earth.
1Pe:2:9: But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood,
an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his
marvellous light:
